Even NFL players like cupcakes …

Cupcakes have become the passion of many over the last decade. My sister, Christa, has a baking company, http://www.MiniBaker.com, which specializes in miniature cupcakes. So, I have a first hand knowledge of the product… as, I have been a taste tester many days. Cupcakes bring small joys to people, in the form of a warm, moist deliciousness. The trend has spread across the United States, and even to some foreign countries abroad. Cupcake Wars, is a show on cable television that puts 3 bakers against each other in a competition of who can make the most delicious, innovative cupcakes.

 

I was recently introduced to the Cupcake Wars show by watching ESPN this offseason (2010). One of the episodes illustrated the Minnesota Vikings safety, Husain Abdullah #39), is a Food Network enthusiast, especially Cupcake Wars!! The way he describes how much he enjoys cupcakes, I had to fill in my sister. Cupcakes have become such a standard dessert, that they have been able to cross into new market segments and become ever popular.
